My cousin has been having similar problems the last several months as I do with the TN. His doctor has put him on one of the medications, but one of the things they are puzzled by is that smells can trigger an attack on him. Now I've only had that happen twice to me, so I'm not sure if that is something else that anyone has learned triggers attacks for them. Please let me know, yes or no, what you think. That's the one thing holding them up from saying yes it is that, and I wanted to ask the people who actually have it.

OMG!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!! If I’m experiencing a really bad flair up, odors DENFINTLY will cause my pain! I have a long list of things that will cause my pain…ready?
Odors, eating, talking, the steam in the shower, brushing my teeth, the bed sheets, laying down, turning in bed, sitting up from laying down, touching metal, getting something out from the freezer, the steam from a pot while cooking, coughing, sneezing, blowing my nose, yawning and even my own salvia! I know that I have left something off but I think that you get my point! I have had TN for about 8 years now, officially diagnosed about 3 years ago. I wish that I could offer a solution…I’m searching!
