Finally I've been put on a med that really helps me.. Ativan---which is an addictive med, I was only on it for about a 3 weeks, but now I'm on Xanax ER and some sleeping med. I haven't pulled in about 2 weeks and that's a miracle for me.. I pulled everyday and night for the last 30 yrs and It feels so good not to pull..Now don't get me wrong I still have the urge from time to time, but i try to do something to interven.. i'm so greatful that the doctors has found soomthing to help me with the pulling, Hopefully it continues to work. I want to know if my current meds will continue to help me or will i be med hopping again with my doctor? Is their a cure for this?

" I'm so happy to hear that you're doing better, that's great. There's no known cure for trich and depending on how ur body reacts to meds you may have to have your dosage upped or meds changed. That's the part that sux about meds. you don't know if they'll work or for how long. But hopefully you won't have to change and they'll continue to work for you. "
