" You're in a good place at this site. We totally understand what you are going through. I am a lash and brow puller. What you said could have been written by me. Welcome to the group. Check out Crazy Chick's Stop Pulling Tips. They do help a lot. I've been using Latisse and now have full brows and lashes, but I'm vulnerable. I realize it everyday. Having lash and brow hair makes me remember not to pull. Although, I do touch and I touch a lot. The touching is comforting, but it also makes me nervous. It is too close to pulling. "

" I totaly undersand your delemma. I've been suffering from the same condition since I was 8 years old. I get better but I sometimes relaps and go on hair pulling binges. I struggle all the time with this but I have faith that someday it will be better and you need to have faith that it will get better for you as well. "

" welcome to the group! know that you are not alone, and know that you can overcome this. the best thing that has worked for me is to keep my hands busy...knitting, crocheting, writing, anything that keeps my hands from going to my hair. plus, it feels great to know that i am being creative and making something with my hands. and knowing that i'm not the only one going through this makes a HUGE difference. good luck! " Welcome! I am new too (just joined 10 mins. ago). I have the same problem. Eyelashes are the most servere for me, but I also sometimes pull eyebrows and head hair. For me, sometimes I need something to do with my hands, or if I'm occupied, it keeps me busy and my mind on other things.
Best luck and support!

" That's how I was from probably 8 years old to 12. I look back at pictures of my childhood and see me without eyebrows and wonder what people thought. I told everyone they fell out for many years, It was the most difficult thing to stop. but have hope. Most people who I know who have over come trich still touch a lot and they say it reminds them not to do it.

" You sound like me...I dont tell a soul about my habit..I hope .this group will be a lifeline for me !
I dont pull my head hair so no one knows I have this problem, I pull places where no one can see ...in fact I have never had an urge to pull my head or facial hair...for that I am grateful. So my secret will always be hidden from others. I can pluck my eyebrows and an ococasoinal chin hair ...( age related LOL ) but dont feel compelled to keep pulling til it is all gone....I do that pulling out of sight....my arm pits , legs, etc....Does anyone else do this too?? I can not BELIEVE I just shared this on a public forum !!!! My first step is admitting the problem, right?? I hope so !!! "
