I'm not sure if I have trich.

Hi all! I have really thick hair that is mostly straight and kind of wavy. I also have lots of thick frizzy hairs that stick out and annoy me to no end. I have plucked these hairs since I was in my teens. I don't pluck in front of people - mostly I just twirl my hair when I'm around others. But, every day and night - whether I'm online or driving - I feel for the frizzies and pluck them. Sometimes I even have "pluck fests" in front of the mirror in the bathroom and pull as many frizzies as I can before I get tired or otherwise need to stop. I usually pluck a frizzy hair, look at it, then get rid of it. I guess I feel a little satisfaction when I do this. Weirdly I only pull with my left hand. But, I never try to pull the straight hairs (the majority of my hair is straight) or hair from my eyebrows/lashes. Also, I never have bald patches. That's why I'm not sure if I have trich. What do you all think?

" well, it seems like you do. you don't have to have bald patches... keep on these boards, research the condition, find out more. It dosen't matter that you don't pluck the staright hairs or any other ones, the fact that you twirl/pull any hair is enough I think. Sometimes trichsters can "feel" for a certain hair and pull it out and you may be experiencing a similar symtom. Please don't just dismiss this as nothing because it can get worse and horribly addicting. "
