What is the best way to apply eyeliner to give the illusion of lashes where the bald spots are? Also, should I use pencil, stick, or liquid?

" I use pencil and liquid. I have used Maybelline water proof liquid liner for 40 yrs. I put pencil on and liquid under the lash line, then above. Then I apply false lashes. If the glue doesn't dry invisible, then I dab some liquid liner there so you can't see it. I always trim the lashes as well to make them look like a more natural length.
Hope this helps. "

" ok. so i use stilla (pencil).. it goes on soooo welll..
for my yearbook pic, i actually discovered a greattttttt way to put it on. cloe one of ur eyes. streach it so itys flat, then draw a line right on top of ur eye-lashes. it really looks good, and makes ur eye lashes look sooo thick! "

" I use Clinique quickliner for eyes - it goes on really smoothly and smudges nicely - it's like a pencil but you turn it like a lipstick to get more instead of sharpening "

" I use pencil and it works pretty well. It's probably the cheapest stuff you can find too. No one ever notices that I barely have lashes when I use it. "

" Go to Youtube and search for makeup tips or some term like that. Lots of videos there that show you how to apply all different looks. "

" I've pulled my eyelashes for 33 years (am now 39)....have none on a daily basis as I pull them.

I have a fast routine that works well for me:

(1) Apply Clinique "Foxy" (color) to brow bone and on lid

(2) Apply a darker color eye shadow (and I mean dark -like a serious dark blue or even dark brown/black) where my eyelashes should be

(3) Apply a water proof dark eyeliner

I also pull all of my eyebrows (joy joy) but have had them permanently tattooed on as I don't have the time to draw them in -it has been a life saver for me over the past 10 years "

" For the eyeliner I've always used a stick

I have no eyelashes though -the liquid just wouldn't work -perhaps in your situation you may want to try out a few different types "
