Hi! Im new and I just wanted to let all you Toutetters out there know that Im here to talk and be your friend cause I know what you are going through. My name is Brian and I am 35 with TS O.C.D and A.D.D. I wasnt diagnosed with my conditions till I was 20. I have travelled a long rough road but I am in a good place right now and would like to help others with these conditions. Im also starting a support group for people with TS in my community through our local hospital so Im looking forward to that. Please feel free to ask me anything. I will be open and honest cause thats how you need to be to help others. Its all about communication. Remember you are not alone. Peace and love.

Welcome... how great to hear from you. I know alot of us are glad to read your message as we have alot of questions.
I have a 14 yr old grandson that has always been a great kid. Never any problems with him. Now I realize the age has something to do with it but he seems to hate everyone right now. His tics are bad ranging from vocal and motor . He can not keep focused in school and is being the class clown . I would think he would want to just blend into the backround to avoid attention because of the tics but he likes being the center of attention. He gets in trouble on the bus to make people laugh. He does have several friends. The teachers say he is popular and maybe he thinks he needs to be a clown to be popular. He hates school , is in 7th grade . He was placed in ESE class last yr because of the ts and hates it but he could not keep up in reg class. He is still struggling in this class. I dont know what to do to help him. Any insight would be great'. thanks ml

Hi Brian, Great to have you with us. Are you able to tell usif anything has improved for you with age? Eg. Are your tics better than when you were a teenager. Are you coping better now. What about sleep problems and gaining employment. I'm sure we would all love to hear your story.
