Well when I have tics, I just act like nothing happened. I keep walking or doing whatever I was doing. Then you don't attract as much attention to yourself, and people just go back to what they were doing.
As for the cursing there is not much that I have figured out to do, as I have them as well. If you yell it out in public you can act like you were just yelling to someone and act like you see someone and wave. Also SOMETIMES it helps to yell just "f" instead of the whole word, or muffle it. But as you know sometimes you can't satisfy your tics that way. And when people ask in school "what was that" or anything like that, you can even say "it's just a muscle disorder", smile and go back to what you were doing. Most people if they are trying to be mean to you they just want a reaction from you. Just ignore them, or the best thing to do is be nice, that will give them the opposite of what they wanted, and it can turn out really funny sometimes.
