Hi and welcome
I'm sorry you are struggling with this tic. My son who is 16 had this tic when he was fourteen. He used to punch himself so hard in the face that he was black and blue. It was extremely distressing to watch. Fortunately it went away and so far hasn't come back. How long have you had this tic? How have you coped with school and work?

My son, who is now 19 also has had this tic. He would hit the back of his head with his fist or against a wall, sometimes hundreds of times a day. He doesn't do it any longer. His TS has interfered with making friends because people have a hard time getting to know him because they do not understand or are afraid of the tics that he does. Hang in there. Hopefully things will improve for you soon.
