I've had bruxism since I was about 5 years old. Over the years I've gotten worse and worse. I now find myself clenching my teeth throughout most of the day. Does anyone have any idea on how to control this to keep it from getting any worse? I chew gum a lot so I have something to keep me from clenching, and that helps a little. Any advice on the clenching or grinding would be wonderful. Thanks.

" I grind and I clench, too. I wear a splint 23 hours a day. It's supposed to keep your upper and lower back teeth apart and re-align them somewhat. It's so thin they're barely noticeable. It's almost like Invisalign. It's a little pricey, though. Ask your dentist about it. "
