I grind my teeth at night---have since I was a child.
Now due to problems from the grinding plus some other significant issues, I just found out that I need ~$6000 worth of dental repairs. I am currently unemployed and have no dental insurance. Does anyone know of any affordable dental plans for those who have no insurance? These repairs don't include removal of my wisdom teeth, which are causing me a great deal of pain daily. Try local dental schools - they often offer local community services at discounted rates. If you are ok with working with dental students under supervision you could probably get a good deal. I got my nightgaurd through NYU and I know their clinic offers free services to patients who can prove need (unemployed would seem to qualify!)
