Came back from the dentist. There is a new mouth guard, but can't remember the name. It covers your front top or bottom teeth only. The theory is that when your molars come in contact with something{like your other molars} the muscles of your jaw clench automatically. If you can prevent the front teeth from touching then the molars won't come in contact and there is less headache and neck pain, less grinding, less recession. Check it out. I will post when I find out what it is.

I use this device and would highly recommend it. I got it from my dentist, although it cost >400 bucks, it is comfortable to wear and has solved my problem for grinding and the neck pain that I would get in the morning. The device was designed for migraine sufferers but works for grinding as well, even though it is not listed on the website see below

NTI doesn't work for people with serious bruxism and/or clenching problem.

Hi All,
This is why I recommended the StressGard NightGuard from TotalGard. They have two different night guards that help with bruxism for molars/bite plates. Dave
