High pitched T sufferer. At night I came across a radio station. It was 'classical music, I laid on my bed and listened to it for an hour. The music was from all over the world. This classical is like the symphony, but calming. Hght pitched violins, pianos, you name it Mozart, etc. very soothing to the tinnitus, i can actaully go to bed with it and I use it to wake up in the morning as my alarm clock....give it a try. I believe there is a website, www.allclassical.org or find a radio station. Mine was 89.9 in portland or

" Thanks for the info and link. Unfortunately in my case my tinnitus reacts to violins, flutes, bagpipes etc.... Interesting though the neuromonics dudes inc this type of music in 3 of their 4 music tracks. I imagine because that is where much hearing loss occurs, in the upper freqeuncies and that is what they are trying to compensate for.

" I saw a clip on you tube last year which was an Australian pilot from the War and now in his 70's had had T for over 35 years. He wore headphones and just listened to classical music for about 3 months and then said that his T was totally gone!

Unfortunately because of H I cannot tolerate high pitched sounds like violins and flutes either. But I think there may be something to this for some T sufferers.
