Hi...I'm new here and just wondering if anyone has ever tired Ginko Biloba. My dad and I both have tinnitus and it is driving us crazy. A friend of ours has it and uses ginko and said it works great. I can't use it...had an allergic reaction to it a few years ago. Just wondering if anyone else has ever tried it and if so what luck you had with it.

Hi, my Ent gave some strong concentrated pills of Ginko Biloba. Did do anything for the t I have. But, some people say it works after 3 months of using it. So if your Daddy starts, don't stop until 3 months. Some people had the tinnitus gone when they tried Ginko because their type was related to blood micro circulation.

Thank you. I will tell him, he's starting it tomorrow. I hope it works for him. Haven't found anything my cardiologist will let me take to work for me. Can't take medication...usually has a bad reaction with my heart. It likes to just stop working. :(

Hello!
I was on a supplement that had Ginko Biloba and other herbal stuff and my T actually got worse. Once I quit using that supplement the noise level toned down. It is different for everyone as far as what works and what doesn't. Righ now, I'm taking a little over 2,000 mcg of Biotin and I have noticed the noise level of my T even lower than before. However, this level of Biotin may not work for others. I wish the best for you and your dad! Blessings!

Can you take B-12? They are saying that tinnitus sufferers around the world - are upping the B-12 and feeling a difference. I did Gingko and noticed nothing -

Tried Ginko...all it did was made my stomach upset. Did nothing for the T.
It is trial and error, what works for one may not work for another. Mandy

I'm starting my third month of Arches' Tinnitus Formula, which is mostly heavy doses of Ginko and Garlic. Not doing a thing, but Michangel is correct in that you're supposed to take stuff for at least three months (Arches says four to be sure).
I may try the B12 angle, but Arches sells their B 12 as a way to bring down your stress levels, stress is supposed to make T worse. But I don't know if more B12 makes the noise go down.

I have a real difficult time with medications...even natural. I've tried the B-12, but it made my chest feel real heavy and I had trouble breathing. I feel like I'm going to have to live with this noise in my head forever...it drives me crazy!!! It never goes away!!!
