Thanks for keeping us informed, John. Really appreciate your help and heads up links. I'm going to head over to yuku and check it out. Looks more interesting than the usual vitamin, at a minimum. I sure miss ol' TallG. lol

Follows the idea of the "Brain Patch" - which you can google - a small but consistent zap of electrostimulation over the region of the brain responsible for auditory functions - they found people with Parkinson's responded both in the areas of depression and tinnitus - some had remission of Parkison's, tinnitus and depression in one shot.
My husband went to a workshop where they showcased this instrument right in front of the audience - The doctors had a subject willing to demonstrate the cessation and resuming of his symptoms according to the remote control in the physician's hand. The physician turned on the instrument (small electrodes in the patient's brain) with a flick of a button and the patient who suffered severe depression all his life - his face lit up and he started talking with alot of animation with members of the audience - the doctor turned it off and his face fell and the patient lost interest in the conversation instantly The audience (my husband included) was convinced it was not a nut job by overzealous doctors wanting to become the next Einstein of Neurophysics - Apparently there are doctors doing a study right now to try it on tinnitus sufferers - They reported success and failure - some subjects were instantly cured and there was one woman they featured who got worse - but they continue to modulate the electrodes in her brain in hopes of finding the right zap for her. She had a blog here on the web - but I did not think of saving it or bookmarking it - maybe you can find her on google.
