Tinnitus Support Group

That is an interesting concept that I have looked into time and again. ZAP! that tinnitus right out of my brain. TENS units follow the same principal I believe, but I havent read anyone using it for tinnitus. I believe that the scenar uses electrostimulation. TENS unit is more affordable.

Very interesting. I didn't quite get when it is expected to be introduced as a therapy. Has anyone used the Email address and communicated?

JohnK - Thanks for a GREAT link. Would this be a miracle or what! Have you emailed them? FINALLY it appears that someone in the world understands and takes this condition seriously. Pat

I remember watching a documentary about people that have speech problems, like repeating themselves and not been able to communicate. The Drs. working on this project put a device in the ears of the person, I don't remember exactly what they did but the person, as soon as the device was on, he started talking correctly. I have also seen this senior using the device for Parkinson's disease and is so amazing how just turning the thing on, the people stop shaking... I wrote to the Dr. in the website asking for an online study or something, this would be really interesting.

I really hope this works. I have just sent an email to try to find out more. I'll let you guys know if I find out anything. The concept actually sounds like it might make sense (i.e., doesn't sound like a scam or outright waste of time). I really want to believe that this wil be a cure, but I won't fool myself. If anyone gets more information on this, please share. Thanks.

has anyone heard anything........i keep thinking about ( almost obsessed with)this and read every article about this on the web;.i want to send an email also and try to get more info but i don't want to be disappointed if they don't reply as it seems so far.........anything ........anyone???????
