I wrote about this awhile back....what I have really come to understand is that people that have had Hysterectomies have problems with getting their T3 up above the lower numbers even when the TSH comes back perfect the problem still exist that FT3 is low.
So, I started looking around to see if others have conversion problems and almost all do. For 3 months I tried to do just T3 (Cytomel) my thinking was that if I took T3 only my body had to except it. I was wrong! That just leads to Kidney problems and Reverse T3 also makes you Adrenals work overtime making DHEA. So know I realize it doesn't matter what I take the problem is conversion the connection Hysterectomy. So know I am working on healing my Adrenals and slowly introduce my body to added T3 but I am not doing anymore experiementing at all following a hormone regiment. I also learned that Fibrosis which was the reason for my Hysterectomy is a genetic foot print so we can't be mad at ourselves for making the decision to ahve a Hysterectomy certainly when mine was done their was no other choice. It is really feels good to find pieces of the puzzle that starts to emerge after years of searching. I hope others can write about their experience or if they are having the same kind of problems.
