My calcium level was 10.0, with the lab range 10.3 being the cut off, im going for my pth blood work next week, so just wondering if the pth is high is this or could this be a parathyroid problem. thanks, Jody

" This would be a question for your endo. Most of the time, when there is surgery performed around the Paras, they will become paralized for a while, then begin to work again if they are not damaged during the surgery.
