I live in New Orleans and it is basically of color to stay sober. So, I drink with meds. No reactions here except be careful of weight gain issues.. I have gain thirty pounds in two months and I eat less than before. Metabolism is slower and so will be the ability to shake off a hangover. Cheers

I have always drank alcohol with my synthroid no side effects. But since my thyroid removal in March I went to a wedding had the same amount I always drink and boy it hit me hard! I thought I was dying worst night of my life. I was sick for 3 days. Talked to my endo about it he says he heard of this but it cant be explained?
I have looked on the web for info on this and cannot find anything other than other forums where ppl discuss the same issues.
they say it is due to metabolism. I will be drinking alot less for sure.

I tried a few sips of champagne and it made me stagger. So I won't be drinking any more.. I feel as though I am off balance anyway.
