I had my first does of Nplate to help bring up my platelet count, I will know more as the week goes on. I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience w/ this drug (it has only been on the market for 3 months). I was also wondering if anyone has had their spleen removed as a result of ITP, that is also a possiblility at this point for me. I have been doing great for 14 years and they do not know why I am dropping now.
One more question, is there any diet anyone has followed that seems to be helping w/ the ITP? Sorry for all of the questions, but I am new to the group. On top of this, I have the ANA Tider for lupus and we are trying to get pregnant in the near future! It's been a little crazy and I am looking for any thoughts, ideas, etc., Thank you!!!!!! Hello,
I have been a member of this group for awhile but kept getting a virsus warning here? I have not hear of your new drug --- hope it works well for you! Do you have TTP or ITP? There is another site called www.mdjunction.com that talks about TTP/HUS/ITP Have a good day!

Thanks for the website, I am going to check it out & see if I can find more info. I haven't gotton any virus warnings from this site.
I have ITP, went to the DR today & I am up to 430 thousand! Looks like the Nplate is working, I didn't even need another shot of it today. Thanks again for the information.
