Hi everyone,
After 7 months of trying to figure out whats happening to me I've been now told it is TOS. I'm still completly convinced so I thought i would ask around if what is happening to me sounds familiar.
At first my symptoms were both hands would get flush red. THey would be ice cold. I would notice puffiness in the mournings. Tingling in hands. And very achy hands and forearms.
I saw a neuro and he did not pick it up however it was a PT who dx'd me. He did the standard tests howver did not pick up a low pulse. He did however put pressure on my outlet area and that recraeted the forearm pain. I have been seeing him for 6 weeks now. He is trying to work on my neck area to change my posture. I have noticed that my hands no longer ache and are not as cold. In fact most of the symptoms have decreased. However I now notice that my hands do get tired especially after lifting weights. PT said that this is normal as the muscle are repairing thme selves. A new symptom that I have noticed is tightness around my face area as it is getting pulled down and it even gets numb at times. Again PT said that this is normal and a result of tight scalene muscles. Because i have seen some improvement part of me believes the Dx but becuse I have got the run around for so long i'm still not tottally convinced.
Does this sound anything like any of your symtoms???
THANKS
BILLY

" Yes. You need to see a vascular surgeon. Have they done MRI / CT scans to see what the physiological impingement is? This is a very serious condition, and if left untreated, can lead to some serious long term pain and permanent disability.

I hope you get a proper diagnosis but remember, it very well may not be TOS. If it is, you need ot know excactly what is causing it and what veins, arteries and nerves are being affected.
