My love of my life was diagnosed with testicular cancer and is about to start chemotherapy. He will be going 5 days a week for five hours a day - then two weeks of one day a week 15 minutes - then back to five days. Any shared thoughts or feelings would be appreciated on expectations.

I was diagnosed with Tc last October. The chemo that you are describing sounds a lot like the treatment I went through. At the time, it was a little on the tough side. But it went very fast. It is very aggressive and effective!!!! I have been cancer free for the past 6 months. HANG IN THERE!!!!!!!! Keeping a positive attitude does help with the long days of treatment.

Thank you! I am pleased to say he had surgery in August that went terribly wrong but they went back in on Sept 1st he is hanging in there. They had to remove his kidney, some of his colon, some muscle & 84 lymph nodes. He is cancer free but a long road to recovery! Thanks again!
