I was diagnosed with testicular cancer january 2008. I had a orchectomy and went through 3 cycles of chemo therapy. after the chemo my count didnt go down to normal so my doctors suggested the rplnd surgery even though they had no evidence that my lymph nodes were impacted. I had that surgery at the end of may and it is now septeber. After the surgery was done we got the results back and there was no cancer in the 60 nodes that they took oout. It was bitter sweet news. and my scar hurts everday
so if anyone is thinking about having the rplnd surgery or going to have it and wants to talk about it write me and ill give you some insight on it Posted on 09/11/08, 12:09 am |

hi i just finshed my 3xBep chemotrapy and i am havind residual mass that need to be taken out
and i wound how the scar look like, is there any chance u can send me piture ? or share any advice regarding the rplnd? TNX boram

yes i have residual mass size 11 MM that need to be taken out,so my oncolgy suggest me to di the post chemotrapy RPLND.
and the thing that realy bother me is that i 32 single ,how to deal with the large scar on my belly.
