I might have cancer

I'm 19 and a few weeks ago I had a ultrasound on my thyroid. The results came back 2 days ago, and they found a ball of some sort. They told me there is a good chance that it contains cancer. For the next couple of weeks i will be meeting with a specialist and a sergeon. I have to get a biopsy to see what it is and what it has. I do live with both my parents and I have 3 brothers I am the only girl so it's sort of difficult to talk to my brothers about this. My parents are not really people I could go to, too talk about this. I guess you can say i don't get the comfort I would like from them all. I don't have close friends since I finished high school, I keep all to myself. I'm scared and besides staying positive I don't know what to do. Im coping with it well, for now. I thought maybe expressing myself here I might get some comfort.

" I had a thing like this happen to me when I was younger. Here's my story:
When I was 12, I started seeing a ear, noes and throat specialist. He had to reconstruct my ear once but after he thought I might have cancer. He then had to do another reconstruction. This was quiet a close call and scary to myself as well as the rest of my family. "
