I need help. :[

I'm new to this, and I basically joined out of sheer desperation. I'm seventeen-years-old and I've been struggling with anxiety for about 3 years now. I thought I could keep it under control on my own, but it's only getting worse. It's been the worst it has ever been.
And what confuses me the most is that it isn't triggered by anything at all. Literally, out of no where, I'll start to feel it in my chest, and five minutes later, it will turn into a full on panic attack. Within the last week, they've become a daily occurrence.
I also haven't been able to sleep well and each night I get less and less sleep, I have absolutely no desire to eat whatsoever, and it's effecting my schoolwork. I actually couldn't go to school today because of my anxiety and I'm writing this now because I'm desperate.
Does anyone have any advice for me? Any recommendations at all?
My friend recommended a book called "From Panic To Power" which I'm most likely going to buy very soon.
Thanks.

" Have you been seeing anyone, are you on medicine?
If not maybe its time to get on that. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks but keep it under control with 2 different medicines and therapy.
When you feel an onset, if i dont have medicine i close my eyes and just breath in and out slowly. It helps me, try it sometime and just relax.

" hi, first off i just want to let you know that you're not alone. it may seem like you're the only one with this, but trust me. you're not.

because your anxiety's keeping you out of school, i definitley would reccomend talking to a therapist. it may sound cheesy and corny, but in all honesty my therapist saved my life.

i know where you're coming from with not wanting to eat. it sucks, but you have to eat or you will get sick. start with something small, like a piece of toast, and continue your way back to heavier foods.

i would love to help in any way i can, so you can message me if you want :] good luck, stay strong! i believe in you.

" I think you should go to the doctor and see what they say. You might need to get on medicine. You also need to eat a little bit, because you don't wanna cause other problems by not eating. I think you should keep a journal of how you're feeling each day. Good Luck. "

" I have a therapist. I was molested by a man a while back. I'm okay with it now, but I never stopped going to my therapist. She is good to me and tells me the truth. She doesn't mollycoddle me.

I have anxiety attacks often. Sometimes I feel like everything is out of control and then the room spins and I disassociate and pass out. Its happened in the boys showers, in math class, in the hall and when I was on the wireless. I have learned how to recognize it coming and I have tools I use to bring myself back down. You can survive this.

My anxiety is linked to my sexual abuse. I know that. I am not sure why you have these episodes. Have you seen a psychologist? If not, I would recommend you do it. This can take over your life without treatment. Good luck. Talk to your mum. "
