Yes, I am exactly the same way. I prefer to be standing or walking around. Sitting makes the muscles in my jaw spasm more.

Yep. I am the same way. I think that "we" push our head and neck forward when we sit, therefore causing a strain on the neck and jaw muscles. I do this and have to make a conscious effort to pull my neck back in line with my spine. Why do we do this? Who knows, but most of us do.

yes ! probably a posture problem as we may unconciously protrude our jaw and neck sometimes when we are feeling stresssed aswell !

Argh this is exactly what I'm experiencing at this very moment! I'm sitting at my computer and my jaw seems to be clenching up. I can't even open it properly.

before I got my diagnosis - over quite a long period of time - I thought that sitting in front of the computer was the main reason of the pain in my neck a shoulder and the tinnitus as well. I think if I could afford to stop working I would feel much better and would be more relaxed. The stress of driving (2.5 hours daily) and working (8:45)leaves me no time to recuperate ...
No wonder that the only thing I can do - while I am sleeping - is to clenching on my NTI.

When I am at work my jaw is worse especially when I am under pressure and stressed out. It feels much better when I get home. Its definitely stress related and posture too.
