I used to remember off the top of my head who posted here that their taxes were rejected. But now I've lost track since it's happened to even more people and been mentioned in several taxes threads and journal entries.
Lisa Robinson from WBAL-TV may do a follow up, the Maryland Taxpayer Advocacy Office is investigating this, and we plan to contact politicians as well. Any additional cases we can let them know about can only help.
Here's who I have so far (sorry I don't know everybody's names so I'm just listing user id's). If I've left you off, please let me know.

Also... the investigator from the Maryland Taxpayer Advocacy Office asked me to provide names, cities, and states for anyone else affected. That way they can look up those returns and see if there's any sort of pattern. If you're willing to give me your full name, city, and state; please send me a private message on here. (I've already given her Brandy's & Nick's and our info.)
FYI - we learned last week of a local family whose taxes were rejected because someone else claimed their 19 year old son who passed away in the Fall.

My taxes were rejected, but only b/c they had Siena's SS# wrong.....that doesn't count, right?

do you know where the city/states are for some of these? I have most. They are running our story in Cincinnati and are going to construct a US map of affected families...all I need are cities/states. Thanks so much!!!

Moving this back to the top...I just need cities, and states if I haven't heard from you...our reporter is getting the story ready to air and wanted to construct a US map...could get more coverage that way...with just dots on a map to show that it is widespread. They can't just show the dates as that would be misrepresenting. Thanks so much for your help

Yes, she was just wanting to also get regions/cities to go with the states so that she could construct a map with dots of the US and couldn't really just do states...Thanks so much for your help
