I just wanted to send some virtual candy to all of you and our babies tonight. I hope all of the ghosts, goblins, ladybugs, pirates, elephants and monkeys up there are getting their share of goodies.

These are my first holidays without Colin and I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have been there for me, talked with me and shared your babies stories. Sometimes it's hard to imagine getting through the next hour, but it gives me hope seeing all of you who are 6 months, 2 years, 5 years out of this. My wish for November is that we don't get any more new mommies here!!!!! Everyone in on that one?

" These are my first holidays as well.... and it seems especially hard for me because last year I had Kendal for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, Easter, and Mother's Day!!! Now I feel like I have nothing to celebrate... I will probably be here in 5 years as this is my outlet, where I can say whatever I want!!! I agree that hopefully there are no new SIDS mommies the entire month of November! "

" Halloween used to be my favorite holiday, I was so looking forward to dressing Rorie as a ladybug this year! This would have been our first holiday. My wish forever is that there wont be any new mommies or daddies on here ever again. "

" My daughter died write before Halloween, at 5 weeks old, 5 years ago, so this holiday is always hard for us. Right after she died we did a memorial ritual for her on All Saints Days and that helped a bit. A positive memory in the midst of painful ones.... "

" Thanks Jessie! I can only imagine what Austin must look like as an angel dressed as an elephant in heaven. I also hope that there will be no new SIDS parents. "

" I bought Colton's costume on the clearance rack last year. He was going to be a monkey - got a great deal at $1.50. We have it hanging out in the living room. I keep picturing him eating some chocolate candy all over his face. I wish I had THAT mess to clean up. :)

His Storm Trooper big brother keeps taking it off the hanger and playing with it. I wish I could see them both Trick or Treating together. "

" I had a really hard weekend too...i had my little froggie last year and this year just a big, empty hole in our hearts. I had Audrey's costume all ready too...a pink pig. I couldn't wait. I miss her so much too. I certainly hope that the new parents slow down on here as well. It seems there are way too many of us. "
