We're creating a music cd (and DVD that we're putting in a nice double case). We have a pretty good list of songs, but I'm wondering if anybody else has any suggestions. Here's what we have so far:

I'll Be There - Escape Club
I Will Be Here For You - Michael W. Smith
Not A Day Goes By - Lonestar
One More Day - Diamond Rio
One Sweet Day - Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men
Sissy's Song - Alan Jackson
Somewhere Over The Rainbow & What A Wonderful World -Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
Who You'd Be Today - Kenny Chesney
With Hope - Steven Curtis Chapman

" "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. It's the song I always play when I think about Lindsey and the short time I had with her. "

The song that I played all the time when I was pregnant with Alexiz and after I had her for the short time is

" Thanks everybody for the long list of songs. Wanda, I can't believe I forgot that song. "The Dance" and "The River" are my favorite Garth songs. Certainly more appropriate than ever now! "

" Yeah, I forgot about it too. Then one day I heard it and cried like a big baby, I hadn't cried in a while, and then the tears just starting streaming. It's so befitting. : ) "

" Wow! I thought the list I put together when I first posted this topic was pretty good. Then thanks to the first handful of replies I though the list was great. So on Wednesday, I burned a dozen cd's and designed & printed double case covers to hold the cd & dvd I created. But then there were two more replies yesterday. A few of those songs were so incredible that I'm starting over again. Now I'm calling the cd awesome! Time to burn a dozen more and reprint the updated case covers. Here's my (hopefully) finished cd...

1. audio from a video clip of Kaitlyn & Mommy "chatting"
2. I'll Be There - Escape Club
3. Yesterday - Leona Lewis
4. Sissy's Song - Alan Jackson
5. One Sweet Day - Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men
6. I Will Be Here for You - Michael W. Smith
7. Precious Child - Karen Taylor-Good
8. Who You'd Be Today - Kenny Chesney
9. To Where You Are - Josh Groban
10. Somewhere Over The Rainbow & What A Wonderful World - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
11. My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion
12. With Hope - Steven Curtis Chapman
13. The Dance - Garth Brooks
14. Borrowed Angels - Kristin Chenoweth
15. Not A Day Goes By - Lonestar
16. From Where You Are - Lifehouse
17. Glory Baby - Watermark
18. One More Day -Diamond Rio

Thanks again for all the wonderful suggestions. We really could've included just about all of the recommended songs, but some just fit more than others. "
