Hi, My name is Mark, and i am a long time stutterer, spent most of my childhood in speech therapy that didn`t work, i promised myself along time ago that if i was to ever discover something that actually worked i would share this information with other stutterers.
Well today is the day i begin sharing what i found(rather was given to me). I am looking for a few people who stutter who would like to learn what has helped me, there is no money involved just me wanting to help you. I am not a speech patholigist, scientist, or inventer of some crazy device. I am just a normal person, who knows what its like to stutter. I am not 100% fluent yet but in merely a month i am definately alot better, probable nearing the 90% fluency mark. and am looking for stutterers who want to learn an amazingly simple idea to gain fluency of speech, and i will be there to help you every step of the way. if your interested in trying something new and amazing email me at stutteringmind@yahoo.com Posted on 06/09/08, 12:06 pm |

Hi Mark, I am really pleased to hear that you have found a way to manage your stutter effectively but I would caution against thinking that one size fits all. I think the best advice we can give one another is to keep trying to improve every day. Many methods I tried worked great for a while but then somehow became less effective until, when I was about 38, I found a passive breathing technique that has worked well for me for the past 15 years. But I still keep looking for ways to manage sress and confidence levels which are the two things that affect my stutter the most.
