My wife had a stroke a little over 2 years ago. She has not regained any movement in her arm. She now wants to try neuro feedback and EEG Biofeedback treatment. We have tried everything else from PO and OT to Botox. Has anyone had any experience with this type of treatment . Thanks Mike

I haven't done this but this is what I found in my searches.
Biofeedback training may be used to teach the patient how to consciously reduce muscle tension. Biofeedback uses an electrical signal that indicates when a spastic muscle relaxes. http://www.springerlink.com/conten... Self-directed EMG training for the control of pain and spasticity in paraplegia: A case study. http://www.springerlink.com/conten... I couldn't get to the complete study here I did ask about this when I was still in therapy but it was not available. Thanks for the information. I have found similar information. What I was hoping for was to find a person that had tried this. I am skeptical because there is not one insurance company that will cover this. Thanks again
