Im 16. I live with my gran. I went through a hell of a lot when I was a kid. My mum was an alcoholic so I had to watch her get drunk, carry her home. She never made meals. I never got attention and she didnt want to give any kisses or hugs.
Now, Iv been telling lots of lies about myself to get attention from people, I have one friend. I always want to sit beside her. I always want her attention and her hugs etc..
I am so stressed. I can't focus on things. It was worse in school. I couldnt concentrate, think, or pay attention..
When people talk to me or tell me a story its like trying to learn a different language. I get angry at noises and want them to stop. I get wound up with my brother and want to hit him when his tv is turned up. I walk out places and cant remember what was said.
I ask questions and then when the person talks, I dont listen.
Things like this.
My point is Am I Stressed? Do I have a condition? Am I mentally scarred from everything I was put through? I have the doctor soon, he should help me.

" stress and depression can cause a lot this,. and it sounds like you had a lot of responsibiltiy when you were to young to even understand the full extent of it, a docter may be able to prescribe something but you also need to talk to someone, that may actually help more then meds, but for awhile you may need something to help you over the hump. find a good therapist or very supportive person to talk to about your feelings and how to channel them into someting that will be positive for you, good luck and do not give up, "
