Recommendation: Alexander Technique & Constructive Rest
  Information Source

Has anyone tried the Alexander Technique...in particular, a tool of the technique called 'Constructive Rest' or 'Active Rest'? It may not be a preventative stress tool so much...but it is definitely a tool for recovering from a stressful day. There is some info on it here: http://www.alexandertechnique.com....#ConRest

You can also just do a quick search on the terms constructive rest and/or alexander technique and find out more things...there are guided cd's for it, books, etc. I find this highly useful to at least find calmness and comfort in my body again after a stressful day that leaves me with backaches, headaches, etc.

Give it a try!

" this does sound VERY good - constructive rest and the Alexander Technique. This teaches you to be aware and live properly in your body. I also find a very good site called Inner Frontier teaches you to live in the present moment. Quite hard to learn to do but this site is brilliant..... "
