This was the book that turned me on to the world of CBT. My boyfriend gave it to me and suggested I do the exercise called the TEA form in it everyday. He said he heard about it at a support group he was going to and that it could teach me to manage my stress and anxiety and help me eliminate the thinking errors I was making that caused my anxiety, health anxiety and panic attacks. In a matter of months I was feeling better and several months later I was able to wean off my meds and have not looked back. What was really cool about this book was that it was written by a guy (Sam Obitz) who struggled with anxiety and depression for most of his life before finding the help he longed for with CBT. It's also a short book so it is not too daunting and very encouraging in its tone. I now use the TEA froms every morning when I get to work to get my day started on the right note.

" We used this book in my CBT group and the TEA forms in it have become a staple in my daily routine now. If you are willing to do the work and use the TEA forms for a few minutes each day you will gain great benefits from them and they help you cope positively with whatever is going on in your daily life. The book is short and inspirational and I would also recommend it to anyone who tends to get overwhelmed because this is a simple book to get through. "
