Today was going to be my Baby Shower. Right before We went into the hospital I was picking out the Invitations, And they were so damn cute! I had everything planned and ready. We were going to have a small party and have it at my house. We bought our house in March and were excited for everyone who hasn't seen it yet to come by. Well, instead of dwelling on what should have been today...DH and I are going out to a Movie and Dinner. Im going to try and have fun!

Today was suppose to be my baby shower day as well. When you look in my photo's the ultrasound bordered with pink was the invite. So I know how you are feeling today. I hope that you are your husband enjoy your day out..

The shower thing is a really bummer. Mine had been scheduled for months before we lost Maris. The room was reserved the invitations were bought. My husband's side of the family had been informed. Then after we lost Maris my stupid sister-in-law on my husband's side throw a shower for my husband's sister on the same day. I was upset, upset,upset!!!
So go enjoy the day. You deserve it!

I know how you feel and i'm so sorry. We buried our little girl Nora the day before i was supposed to have my first baby shower and 2 days before our 1 year wedding anniversary ( my mother in law was having one and my step mom/people from work were having one for me as well) I hope you have a good time on your night out. my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

My husband and I spent the whole day together on my baby shower date. We actually picked names for our next baby at lunch. It seems weird I guess but it was actually very therapeutic. I hope that you are doing ok.
