My sister's stepdaughter left a link on her FB page to her Tumblr account. There were all sorts of suggestive pictures as well as alcohol and drugs.
I showed the pictures to her Dad. Now he is angry at my sister (her step mom). The step daughter wants to talk to her because she says she is feeling "attacked". She also told her Dad that she had confided in me that she smoked weed. Now he is also angry at me for not telling him and refuses to let me speak to her. Why is he so mad at all of us, and not at his daughter who did all this stuff? Posted on 08/01/12, 01:52 pm |

Because he knows deep down he should be mad at himself for not parenting HIS daughter. Don't let him walk all over you and tell your sister the same thing. He needs to parent his daughter - not everyone else.

I think they fear they will lose their kids emotionally. That is why the step kids get away with a lot. My own kids are treated differently while his kids get away with so much. I understand your frustration I am as well.
