" Hmm I'm not sure I would ever do that. I do have a tattoo, but it's a dragonfly on my bicep. I guess I'll put it this way... and please, if I offend anyone here, I'm truly sorry.... I've always said that yes, I am disabled, but I won't act like I am. I try to live as normal a life as possible, and I guess getting a tattoo like that would be letting the disability own me. "

" MrsHover you have deeply offended me. No one delibrately acts like they are disabled. For most people it is part of who they are and shapes the person that they become.

You say you try and live a normal a life as possible. Well there is no such thing as normal as one persons normality is completely different to someone elses.

For me having a tattoo that relates to my SB or any other impairment that i have is about acknowledgement and acceptance of the impairment.

With most tattoos relating to disability most people never really know what its for unless you go round telling everyone you meet. "

" Ok well, like I said, sorry if I offended you, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm not saying you're wrong, or I'm right. That's just how I feel about it. "
