" I am 23 years old and I have never had my shunt revised. My doctor said this is very rare and I am lucky. I haven't really had any porblems with it. I thought a few times It was malfunctioning. I was told that I may not need it anymore but he will not take it out because he made that mistake once and the person died. I know many people who have had there's revised and are suprised that I have not. "
