I’m a bit overwhelmed to say the least. Mayberry (who is my friend and I LOVE HER) mentioned that you guys had made a few posts about my procedure, but I really had no idea. I wanted to respond last night but when I read all your posts my heart was filled with tears and emotions and I just went back to bed and thanked God for you all. If truth were to be told, I really don’t have many friends in the real world, being fat and all. And I had no idea that you even considered me a member here at the Smoking site, because as some of you know I just stumbled upon this place looking for SOMETHING because most of the fat people aren’t that fun. I can’t list you all but you know who you are and I will love you forever.
Love Brett PS OUR Mayberry is simply a woman to love, TRUST ME! You should have seen her working the surgeon over when I was just out of surgery and in so much pain. They could not get enough MORPHINE in me fast enough. So she’s there telling HIM what and how much of some other drug to give me. He didn’t know whether to shit or wind his wrist watch! Luckily Brett me old mucker, we were well informed of your progress through out, you should see the web cam on youtube..lol. We only really made fun after you were out of ICU. Once we knew you were ok.... All jokes apart, you are a great guy, and thats goes to show by the posts on here from your friends.. I know the feeling so well, coming home to so much luvin just blows you away... But aint it awesome.... You have made it through as I knew you would... Welcome back Brett- good to see youre feeling better and can take all the humor this group throws at you!!!! Now rest and get ready for your new life to begin cause its gonna be awesome. In case you didnt see it on another post- My brother (real one) had GBS 7/15/09 and has already lost 150 lbs. He feels so great. I dont know if thats normal- personally I thought it was too much too fast, but his doctor says hes doing great.
Oh yeah- and btw- how can you tell if someones fat on DS? or thin? Thats kind of the nice thing tha t even though we develop such great friendships its all based on words and not appearances. If only the world was really like that. My favorite bumpe r sticker of all time is - "I may be fat, but youre ugly. And I can always lose weight"!!!!! - keep up the faith and live your best life!!!!!
