Hi guys... I know your gonna probably think WOW...

but i felt i had to share this with somebody so... i thought here would be okay :(

Ive done 46 days quit, and i thought i was doing so well! Im on the patches and im still on the 21 mg patches, anyways this morning i stuck my daily new patch on, no problems, then decided to take it off whilst i bathed! ( i never like leaving them on)
so anyways dumb ass me forgot to put it back on once id dried off and got dressed again.
I went out in the car and like 3 hours after i began getting VERY VERY twitchy... even at this point i still didnt realise i didnt have the patch on! i felt that niggling away feeling inside but i just didnt realise i was craving!!!
so i come to some traffic lights and this guy cuts me up.... i have NEVER been so angry and violant in my entire life!! I got out and asked the guy what the hell he was playing at cutting me up that way!! he laughed at me and said calm down ass hole! OMG i was so f**kin furious!!!! I hit him! I realised str8 away what i did was wrong but i literally smacked him str8 in the mouth!
long story short... i almost got arrested but luckily didnt!

when i got home it made me realise just how addicted to this shit i am! and that although i can stick patches on...im STILL addicted!
im so pissed right now!

thanks for listening/ reading me going on and complaining.... you guys are great your all doing so well and i cant even control my temper sorry guys x

" OMG......And I thought I was going off...LOL. I know there is suppose to be humor at all in one's vent & frustration. But sometime I feel like if it wasn't for knowing there are others that do these sort of things/outburst too....I would think I was going completely crazy! I hope you have slapped you a new patch on & are sticking to your quit...regardless of the situation. Lol......Don't let the cigarettes get the best of you! "

" Hi there Jordanross. May I suggest an anger management class. I know the nicotine withdrawal can do some jitters and stress but full blown rage needs some looking at. "

" I totally understand where you're coming from. I started smoking again a couple of weeks ago because I took my rage out on a customer, who always comes to me because she's difficult. I take care of all the difficult customers at work. This day in question I chewed her out and she said, she didn't want me to serve her anymore. I thought GOOD!!!!! I then later went out on my lunch break and bummed a smoke-that was stupid,it took me a week to quit again,I am now on day 3 of a new quit. I learned that smoking doesn't change anything. You did the right thing by not lighting one. Next time walk away and hit an object not a person. Stay cool,
Terry "

" By the way the customer came back to me and told me she quit 8 years ago and understood what I was going through. "

" Jordanross, I too used the patch but i never felt that way when i forgot to put it on. Check with your doctor, there might be something else that is setting you off. I hope you have learned from this and it doesn't happen again. We all feel for you but don't want anything to happen to anyone else or even to you. Quitting is suppose to make your life better and happier. Stay close to the group and really do check with your doc. "

" I think this is normal quitting cold turkey, but not if you quit using Chantix or Wellbutrin or some other aid. That nicotine is nasty stuff. It brings out the worse in anyone. "
