How bad is that ? does anybody know ?

I'm sorry to hear this Camartin- I have no idea what it means. Hopefully your doctor can educate you. But quitting smoking is the best thing you can do. We have all gone through this battle here so youre in the right place for support. Just keep telling yourself over and over "SMOKING IS NO LONGER AN OPTION"

Hiya Im sorry to hear about your xray result. I think you need to ask your Doc about your condition because everyone is different. My Mum had emphysema and what i do know is that quitting smoking slows the progression of the disease. We can help you quit here by supporting you so welcome to the group.

I was told I have emphysema as well. I don't know the size. I was told that as long as I don't smoke I could keep it undercontrol or as is. But Yes, talk to your Dr. about this for exact details. Keep coming back here! You are in the right place. The support here is great! Not smoking is a great first step!

i am not sure but would discuss with your dr...maybe if you dont have a lung dr maybe you should get one if you have emphysema...dont worry too much until you speak with the dr...I hope everything is ok...please keep us posted...hugs
