" Theres something about the 2 month mark that I too had a hard time. That and again at 100 days. Just try to hang in there- if you get desperate an NRT is better than smoking. "

" I'm around the same point as you and I find it helps thinking about how crushed I'd be afterwards if I smoked! I've failed before and I remember that disappointment and frustration once you've given in....it's the worst thing to be that pi**ed at yourself.
Try everything,water,breathing,eating,sleeping...but DO NOT GIVE IN!!!
You can get through it!!! I'd use the NRT as a real last resort but as forerica said that's better than smoking.
Big hug!! xx "

" Keep remembering that if you have just one- you start all over. And you dont want that. That alone has kept me going..... its not always easy but it really is worth it and does keep getting easier. Go to a movie and take your mind off it!!!!! "

" hello you are doing really great it would be a real shame to fall off the wagon now. I used the nicotine patch and if my memory serves me right I initially stopped using it after 30 days but I went back on it for a further 15 days later on. (I think I was at 45 day mark and went back on patch for 15 days)
I didnt want to put the patch back on but I did want to protect my quit. You should do whats needed to protect your quit. If you start using the nic replacement try and get off it sooner rather than later
You are doing marvellous and you should be very proud of yoursellf. maybe popping in here for the daily rollcall may also help
hugsssssssssss Deb "

" That is around the time I have messed up my other quits. The conclusion I have come to is: the psychological part of quitting is the hardest to conquer. We know how to be smokers we have done it for years now it is learning how to be a non smoker. All the books go on about how to quit I really don't see any on remaining quit. "
