My pschotherapist suggest me to try mindful practices to help me quit smoking. He recommended this book Mindful practice means to focus in the moment, in the "now". So I started by mindfully eating grape tomatoes. I love grape tomatoes but usually when I see a pint ot that, I would chow it all down in a minute without even knowing what it tastes like. but when I eat grape tomatoes mindfully, I notice the texture of the tomato, the taste of the juice when I bite it and the lingering taste after I swallow it. And that each grape tomato has a different taste. And so I enjoy the taste of the grape tomatoes even after I had enough of it and I don't want to have a smoke right after I eat anymore.
