I'm not sure if it's an internal clock thing, but my body is really weird when it comes to sleeping through the night.

It used to be that I would wake up here and there, but lately, I wake up almost every hour between going to bed and getting up. And I wouldn't even call it waking up. My body physically jerks me out of a deep sleep almost every hour on the dot. I end up not getting a good nights sleep because I am never in the resting sleep for very long. It's to the point where it is starting to affect my school life.

Any advice or similar occasions?

" My sister had that problem for a while and then discovered that a church down the street had a bell that would go off all night. Check out the possibility of some out side disturbance before making yourself crazy with worry. If that is not the case call you Dr for a physical to be sure there isn't some medical issue causing this. "

" I usually take a nap with my daughter. She naps from an hour to sometimes 2 hours. I can lay down and feel extreamly tired, fall asleep but within 30 mins, it's like my body jerks me out of sleep. I litterally jump up. After that I can't nap anymore.

At night, I want to go to bed at 7pm but cant. I put my daughter to bed around 10pm (any earlier and she'd be up at 5am!) then I try to fall asleep and usually nod off around 12:30-2:30. I have broken sleep until 8:30am when my daughter waked me up. I can feel it putting strain on my body. I'm sure I need to seek the help from a doctor. "

" Since I've moved back to California I've been having that same problem. One day I can sleep fine, then the next I wake up almost every 30 minutes to an hour. I've even had nightmares that have made me jump. It's scary but I try to ignore it. Could it be stress? That might be causing you to wake up so much. "

" Every night I wake at the same time and look at the clock. 11:44 pm. It doesn't matter what time I go to sleep either. I could fall asleep at 11:30 pm or at 9:00 pm. I always wake at 11:44 pm and look at the clock. It sucks because then my body thinks it's not tired anymore and sometimes I can't fall back asleep. "

" sounds like chronic fatigue to me. If so, you might ask your doctor to prescribe zyprexa. ask for a 10mg tab, and cut it into 4 pieces. Use 1/4 tab and see if that is enough. It is non-addicting sleeping pill.
Lord bless,
Lee "
