facial breakout in the mask area

I've been on the CPAP for just about 1 week and now have 4-5 pimples in the area where the mask is. Has anyone had this? Been washing my face real well each night. Had not washed the mask each night as the guy who provided it said to do so weekly but just scrubbed since I haven't had a break out since I was in high school. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

i had the same issue you need to wash the cushon everyday too your face oils are trasfering to it.

I get dark red where the mask is against me on each side of my nose.
I do not get an any acne. The red seems to go away if I use an anti-fungal cream. I think I should ask my doc.
