" Does your machine have a ramp feature? What the ramp does is start out at a lower pressure and then over a period of a few minutes or how long you set it for it increases until it gets to the prescribed pressure.

I have been using a CPAP for 2 years now and if I do not have the ramp set I will get the clogged up ear feeling. "

" I find that a 5 min ramp is the best for me. I to do not do well with the not getting enough air thing either. Unfortunately, the lowest setting is a 10 min ramp. So I turn it on and putter around the room for five min viola a 5 min ramp. Try it! "
