" I wish I knew what normal was! It took me a month to get used to my machine and sleep with the mask on through-out the night. I had a good run of about 6 weeks of feeling pretty good during the day but now I;m back to feeling tired and run down. I had a third sleep study and it was not recommended to change my pressures.
I do have other health issues and I've been very depressed lately. A few of my docs want to put me on an anti-depressant so we'll see. It's always something. Good luck to you! "

" I got my machine months ago and could not adjust so I stopped using it.

Recently, I was hospitalized and I am glad I told them I used a cpap. 1 thing I learned is that the mask given to me was too large and that is part of the reason I could not adjust.

Now I know I was pressure pushing back at me through the mask.
During a crisis I was switched to a bipap on a high number and faster breathing pace.

Wow, did that ever help me. so since then i've been using the cpap off and on through out the day and thorughout most nights. "

" you are doing much better than many new users

if you have a nose only mask a common problem is mouth breathing which causes a very dry mouth and loss of cpap benefits

new users have a 'sleep debt' that takes about 2 weeks to make up "
