I don't have a machine yet and I'd like to know what the difference is between these 2 machines.

" A c pap uses steady pressure, a bi pap has different pressures for exhalation and inhalation. If your pressure is high and especially if you use a nasal pillow mask, I highly suggest the bi pap.I will be more comfortable and it's less noisy too. :-) "

I know I'll be put on some type of machine because I have been comotose at home several times and one time is was very serious.

" My life has changed by leaps and dounds! Well first off I not only have Sleep Apnea but Muliple Sclerosis. So because I wasnt getting quality sleep it was making my MS symtoms worse. REALLY bad, The bipap has helped me to wake up in the morning with out a headache and feeling like crap. I love my bipap...always use it! "
