I really feel dense for even having to ask this, but............. Is there a list anywhere that lists the abbreviations? I'm having a difficult time trying to figure them out on my own. I'm new here, forgive the question.

Yeah...sometimes we fall into the lingo...I think the most familiar abbreviations you're going to see here are:
BCC -- Basal Cell Carcinima SCC -- Squamous Cell Carcinoma Mohs -- not an abbreviation (but it looks like one!) but the name of a surgical procedure to remove skin cancer. For a website with good information, explanations, definitions (and those nasty abbreviations!) I'd highly recommend www.skincancer.org And hey -- we were all new to the world of skin cancer at one point...so there's NO need to apologize for asking for information. :-)
