Thanks for all your good wishes. I had my Moh's surgery. It only took 2 times to get all the cancer. It is in the corner of my eye, so I have a plastic surgeon appt next week to repair it. I have to do wound care twice a day and I am keeping it covered. It really was not painful at all. Thanks again. Mary Anne

" Glad to hear it's over and it sounds like you're doing well. When I had my MOHS, I didn't have much pain either. I had 4 rounds on my nose and then bilobe reconstruction right after. With all that I thought I would have lots of pain. I took 1 dose of pain meds and got sick from them. After that, I just took tylenol and was fine, just uncomfortable. Best wishes on your repair next week. Lisa "

" Hey, there -- you made it through the Mohs!! You don't have cancer anymore! Whoo hoo!! Do scrupulous wound care, and take it easy (this is the part where you make your people take care of you!) "

" I am. I had a bowel resection two months ago and an epidural for stenosis on Friday so, in addition to this, I am resting. I feel like I should be a Pirate for Halloween, though. lol. "

" Hope you are healing well. I am two weeks into the post mohs. Did you have your procedure done in PA. I am in san diego but am planning to go back to PA to have a different plastic surgeon do the resconstruction. My second visit here was a disaster and ended up in the hospital. Was your surgery done in a surgi-center or a doctors office. What restrictions were you give? What were you told pre and post op? I desparately want to find out if my experience was out of the norm. I hope you heal well. I am even considering letting it heal on its own and see how bad the scar is.The reconstruction was going to be a major flap with many stitches, all this before everything went wrong and I ended up in the ER. My bcc was considered small and caught early. I can't imagine if it was a large area. Thanks for any information. Please take good care "

" I had the Mohs at the surgeon's office. He was excellent and was a professor at the University of Penn. I am seeing the plastic surgeon next week. I think he will repair it at a surgical center. My site in where my nose meets my eye. Where is your site? I had two passes with the Mohs. "
