Had Biopsy This morning

They gave me a nerve shot and had to give me another one after that because I wasnt sure if I was feeling stabbing pain or pressure. It turned out when they did the second one I was already numbed so now I will probably be charged for two shots instead of just one. I felt like I was going to throw up doing the entire process due to nerves I think my doctor sensed this and put a cover on me so I did not see anything she was doing. It took less than two seconds for her to remove it. Now I have to wait a week for a results.

Hang in there KP. Waiting for me is always the hardest part. I had 2 done 3 weeks ago and had 3 done last week. I have come to the point that I am just not thinking about it any more. :) Will be praying for good results for you!

You are right the nerves are its worst during the biopsy and while waiting.
I knew it was BCC, the one on my face but for my arm it was iffy, turn to be pre cancer lesion. Best to you.

Got a call from the doctors office today and said it was benign. I am happy about that. My only issue I am having is itching like crazy feeling. I dont itch it its healing nicely I put scar cream on it this morning and that really burned dont know if I did it too early but the black dried blood fell off so I didnt think it could hurt trying it and the bottle didnt say anything but apply three times a day. Maybe at around noon I will just do anti itch cream. Thank you guys for all the support I hope that if you are having tests that they come back with good results as well.

Try simple vaseline ,it may help with the itching. Hugs to you , Gail
